Aphrodite A, a custom made jumbo by Emanium
I got this from Tom Hughes whom he purchased from an original owner, but decided that she didn't fit as well within his collection. This is #005.
From the Aphrodite creator "Only the first 10 Aphrodites that were produced had the spring-loaded firing chest missiles. This proved to be too difficult and time consuming to produce, so the rest of the line was produced with magnetic chest missiles; the last one produced was #268. Only 1 silver metallic was produced (the prototype shown on the website) and that one was also sold to a collector." Not much else shared on her besides the original price of $299.
Personally, I don't think 268 were made (how many, not sure, but am guessing maybe 30 -50), or else would have seen this one in more jumbo collections. This one was made in 2005. I created a survey near the bottom, if you have one, please let me know.

The item was packaged nice with a custom box, paperwork, and Certificate. As some had mentioned from other searches on this jumbo, the magnets that hold the arms and such, seem to be of more regular magnets and not rare earth neodymium type. The arms are just strong to stay on, but not hold a pose. Not sure if the magnets were changed to stronger ones with later productions. Mine had a paint chip at the missile shooter location, and would appear the parts were made with a fiberglass resin and filled with micro-balloons. E-man mentioned from an e-mail that he mixed up his own custom paint color when I inquired what paint he used. Like I mentioned above, not much for any additional details from the creator on a few questions about the figure.
I need to make a stand for the girl, as I don't trust the feet to stand on their own for an extended time.
